The Texas Tenors to Give 2 Free Concerts in Columbiana
COLUMBIANA, Ohio – The Texas Tenors will perform two free concerts – 3 and 7 p.m. – on Sunday, Sept. 28, at the Columbiana High School auditorium, 700 Columbiana Waterford Road. Advance tickets or reservations are not necessary and will not be accepted. Admission is on a first-come basis. Seating is general admission. Guests can go to only one of the two concerts. The two performances will close the annual fall concert series presented by the Firestone Park Cultural and Custodial Committee.
The Texas Tenors is a vocal trio consisting of Marcus Collins, JC Fisher and John Hagen. The act got its start in 2009 after appearing on “America’s Got Talent.” It has since released five albums and appeared in two PBS specials. The act’s most recent albums, “Outside the Lines,” “Rise” and “A Collection of Broadway and American Classics” all debuted in the top spot of the Billboard charts. The Tenors are currently on their 15th anniversary tour and singing everything from country to classical music.
The two concerts will bring to a close the free fall concert series of the Firestone Park Cultural and Custodial Committee. All other concerts will take place at the Idabelle Firestone Gathering Place and Garden in Firestone Park, 338 E. Park Ave. For concerts at the park, guests can park in the pool lot and have the option of taking a shuttle to the venue. Bring lawn chairs or blankets.
