WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Recreation Department has announced details of a summer bus trip to see the Texas Tenors in concert at Danversport Yacht Club.

The concert is scheduled for the afternoon of June 20, and a motor coach will depart at 10:45 a.m. from Wilmington Town Common parking lot, located at 142 Middlesex Ave. The bus is scheduled to return at 4:30 p.m.

The cost of the trip and concert is $120 per person, $125 for non-residents, which includes lunch at the venue in Danvers. The menu features stuffed breast of chicken or baked scrod, salad, vegetables, bread, dessert and coffee or tea.

The Texas Tenors — a group made up of JC Fisher, Marcus Collins and John Hagen — rose to prominence while appearing on America’s Got Talent in 2009. In subsequent years, the group has performed thousands of concerts, released four studio albums and received three Emmy Awards.

The Tenors have over half a million followers on social media and have received 20 million views on YouTube, Facebook and Instagram.

“Now you can see them live in concert right in your neighborhood,” the Wilmington Recreation Department said in a statement.

Check the Town of Wilmington’s Recreation Department website for more details about the event. According to organizers, a $25 deposit is due at registration, with the full payment due on May 15.
