The Texas Tenors perform for Emmylou Harris at The Autry Gala

LOS ANGELES, CA –  John Hagen, Marcus Collins and JC Fisher of The Texas Tenors perform for Jackie Autry & Honoree Emmylou Harris at the The Autry Gala on October 3, 2015 in Los Angeles, California.

A lively night honoring the best of the American West, the Gala is one of the Autry’s largest fundraisers of the year. This year’s gala celebrates the beauty and diversity of Western landscapes, many of which are depicted in artworks throughout the Autry’s museum galleries. This black-tie or dressy Western evening includes a cocktail reception, silent and live auctions, an elegant dinner, entertainment, and the presentation of the Spirit of the West Award.

Past honorees include Kevin Costner, Kirk Douglas, Clint Eastwood, Diane Keaton, Pulitzer Prize-winning author N. Scott Momaday (Kiowa), Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson, and many other distinguished individuals and foundations.

The Annual Gala enhances awareness of the Autry’s mission and secures support for a variety of exhibitions, public programs, on- and off-site educational programs, and research. The Autry’s educational programs serve tens of thousands of children and their families and teachers each year.
