The Texas Tenors to perform at Gallagher Bluedorn

UNI.edu | CEDAR FALLS, Iowa – On Wednesday, July 15, the Friends of Gallagher Bluedorn will host the first performance in their new Friends Presents series featuring the popular country/classical trio, The Texas Tenors.

Since their whirlwind debut on 2009’s America’s Got Talent, The Texas Tenors have accumulated a long list of awards and excited fans. With their Emmy Award-winning PBS special now airing across the nation, and chart-topping albums, The Texas Tenors have become one of America’s favorite trios. Proceeds from the event will go to support the Kaleidoscope Series for Youth.

Friends of the Gallagher Bluedorn will also be hosting a silent auction before the performance, as well as a live auction during intermission. Live auction prizes include an autographed acoustic guitar from the performance; a two-night stay in Branson, Missouri, including tickets to The Texas Tenors at the Starlite Theatre; a dinner for four with John Hagen and his wife at Montage; and a personalized voicemail message by The Texas Tenors. Silent auction items include an autographed cowboy hat, a basket of The Texas Tenors merchandise, a pair of cowboy boots and a recorded voicemail phone message by The Texas Tenors. Money raised from the auction will be put toward funding the Kaleidoscope Series, which offers performances to school age children for only $1 each.
