By Mitch Hotts, The Macomb Daily – Wearing black cowboy hats and performing everything from “O Solo Mio” to “God Bless the USA,” The Texas Tenors are on their way to becoming one of America’s favorite new tenor groups.

The trio rides into Macomb Center for the Performing Arts in Clinton Township on Saturday night for a night of music, humor and fun.

The Tenors — John Hagen, Marcus Collins and JC Fisher — are a classically trained trio whose material ranges from Broadway to classical, country to gospel.

The trio made their debut five years ago on NBC-TV’s “America’s Got Talent” reality competition show and have gone on to perform more than 800 concerts around the world, according to publicity materials.

Their Emmy Award-winning PBS special is airing across the country and the boys have become one of the top attractions at the Starlite Theatre in Branson, MO. They were named by Billboard magazine as one of the Top 10 classical artists in 2014 for their CD “You Should Dream.”

Showtime Saturday is 7:30 p.m. at Macomb Center for the Performing Arts, 44575 Garfield Road, Clinton Township. Tickets are $40-$56. To purchase tickets, visit macombcenter.com.
