La Canada News – The Texas Tenors, the trio that first came into public prominence five years ago with their performance on “America’s Got Talent,” returned to Southern California on Sunday, Dec. 21 to perform a holiday concert in support of the nonprofit Community Scholarship Foundation of La Cañada Flintridge.
For the Tenors – JC Fisher, Marcus Collins and John Hagen – it was their first show in the Los Angeles area since their Emmy award-winning PBS special, “You Should Dream” with the Phoenix Symphony. The show won three Emmys in October, including Best Entertainment Program or Special.
Two years ago, the Texas Tenors also performed in support of the foundation at Lanterman Auditorium in La Cañada.
The Community Scholarship Foundation, which is coming off its 50th anniversary, funds college scholarships for students in need.
