The Texas Tenors coming to the Sandusky State Theatre

Aaron Krause , Sandusky – You saw them on “America’s Got Talent.” Now see them live at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15 at the Sandusky State Theatre. Tickets range from $30 to $60.  More than 100 million people from around the world tuned in to see The Texas Tenors become “the No. 1 vocal group in the history of America’s Got Talent.”

The group made its whirlwind debut five years ago on the NBC-TV hit show, burst onto the national scene and never looked back. Since then, the group has performed more than 700 concerts with major symphony orchestras in the U.S. and internationally, including a 24-city tour in the UK and China.

In their first PBS special, “You Should Dream,” performed with the Phoenix Symphony Orchestra, The Texas Tenors bring their own signature blend of breathtaking vocals, humor, harmony and cowboy charm which garnered three Emmy Awards. This charismatic and talented trio smoothly blend great music from the worlds of country, classical, gospel and Broadway.

TTT’s debut album “Country Roots — Classical Sound” soared to No. 1 on classical and country charts in 2010, and today is still a strong seller. Their latest album, “You Should Dream,” has remained on the Billboard Top 10 since its release in 2013. The album is devoted to the classical treatment of beloved country, Broadway, and standard favorites, which formed the basis for their PBS special. Their Christmas album, “O’ Night Divine” resurfaced again on the Billboard charts this past summer and continues to entertain their legions of fans worldwide.

JC, Marcus and John are always ready to give back and promote awareness for organizations near and dear to their hearts including The Child Fund International, Homes for our Troops, The Mission Project and Habitat for Humanity to name a few.
