Mlive.com | KALAMAZOO, MI — Four years ago the Texas Tenors made a splash on the reality TV show “America’s Got Talent,” and now after 800 concerts around the world they are quickly becoming America’s favorite tenors.
The trio stops by Miller Auditorium at 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16 for a concert with country, classical and Broadway tunes delivered with humor and cowboy charm.
John Hagen, Marcus Collins and JC Fisher also have a PBS special and a Billboard Top 10 album “You Should Dream,” under their rodeo belt buckles.
In a Kansas.com review of the trio’s appearance with the Wichita Symphony, the writer said, “After a rousing overture of themes from “The Magnificent Seven,” the charismatic Texas Tenors took the stage. Beginning with “O Solo Mio,” the trio moved on to John Denver favorites. Their presentation was laced with good-natured banter, which the audience enjoyed.”
Tickets are $45-$25 and are available at the Miller Auditorium box office, by calling 269-387-2300 or by visiting www.millerauditorium.com.
