CANON U.S.A. CELEBRATES THE 17th ANNUAL RED CARPET FUNDRAISER HONORING ITS CUSTOMERS AND BENEFITING THE NATIONAL CENTER FOR MISSING & EXPLOITED CHILDREN

WHAT: The 17th Annual Canon Customer Appreciation Red Carpet Reception/National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) Benefit Fundraiser and NCMEC Celebrity Golf Tournament held in Las Vegas to raise funds and awareness for child safety.  Founded by John Walsh, NCMEC is the leading private nonprofit 501(c) (3) organization in the US working with law enforcement, families and professionals on issues related to missing/sexually exploited children.

Actor Richard Burgi (Desperate Housewives) will emcee the Canon U.S.A. and the NCMEC Fundraiser.   Celebrities, elected officials and patrons of NCMEC are anticipated to attend, including special guest John Walsh of “The Hunt with John Walsh,” a weekly investigative/documentary TV series aired on CNN.

Also attending are more than 50 celebrities, including pitching star Roger Clemens “The Rocket” (Baseball All-Star & World Series Champion); actor Chris McDonald (The Good Wife, The Squeeze); actor Danny Masterson (Men at Work); professional football player and Olympic athlete Willie Gault; actor Kevin Sorbo ( Hercules, Soul Surfer); The Property Brothers ( HGTV); Dr. Phineas T. Kastle (Pawn Stars, The History Channel); Thunder from Down Under (Headliners, Excalibur); Tom Welling (Superman, Smallville) Marcus Collins of The Texas Tenors (Top 10 Recording Artists); and more to be announced  upon confirmation.

Thursday, January 7, 2016 – Canon Celebrity Red Reception/ NCMEC Benefit
Fundraiser: 6:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. –  Reception:  7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Friday, January 8, 2016 – NCMEC Celebrity Golf Tournament, 7:30 a.m. breakfast;
tee off at 9 a.m.

Benefit Fundraiser at the Bellagio Hotel, Tower Ballroom.

Celebrity Golf Tournament at Tournament Players Club (TPC) Las Vegas.

Since 1997, Canon U.S.A. and NCMEC have collaborated to educate the public about the growing issue of child abduction. The Canon4Kids program, a partnership between Canon U.S.A. and NCMEC, donates product to help law enforcement quickly disseminate photos and information about missing children, produces PSAs with missing children’s photos, and educates parents about tips for taking and maintaining updated photos of their children.
