McDonald’s of Hannibal presented a donation to co-sponsor the Texas Tenors Christmas benefit concert for the Douglass Community Services’ Kids in Motion program.
Adam Orschelin, Hannibal McDonald’s General Manager, and Bob Gilstrap, McDonald’s Owner, presented Amy Vaughn, the DCS Kids in Motion Program Director, with a $3,000 check to sponsor the Kids in Motion 20th Anniversary Celebration. The Texas Tenors will perform their “Deep in the Heart of Christmas” Concert on Sunday, Dec. 11, at the Roland Fine Arts Building on the Hannibal-LaGrange University Campus.
The Emmy Award-winning trio appeared on America’s Got Talent, and since that time, have traveled the world with their blend of country, pop and classical music.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to support the DCS Kids in Motion Program. Gilstrap is one of the founding board members of the Kids in Motion program, and McDonald’s has financially supported the program every year since the program’s inception 20 years ago.
