(New York, NY, Feb. 5, 2020)—The Billboard chart toppers, The Texas Tenors, will once again be “causin’ a ruckus” in bookstores and libraries this winter. In between sold-out shows across the country, the music trio penned a lullaby that became the children’s picture book Moon’s on Fire!, published by Blue Cat Books which will be released on “World Read Aloud Day”, February 5, 2020.
A rompin’- stompin’ companion to The Texas Tenors’ award-winning Ruckus on the Ranch, Moon’s on Fire! opens with all the ranch animals settling down to bed. But when dog Clem spots the fiery orange of the harvest moon, sleep is impossible. He yelps to one animal after another until the whole ranch is awake. It takes a clever cowboy and cowgirl to convince the animals that the moon is shining brightly as it does every October, and they can use the hours of daylight to harvest crop and mend fences.
Clem’s lively, repeated refrain, “Moon’s on fire! Moon’s on fire! Must be dire! Moon’s on fire!”, will delight young readers. The book closes with a lullaby that finally puts everyone—critters and kids alike—to sleep. “The Cowboy Lullaby” is featured on a new CD, along with a reading by The Texas Tenors and special guests.
With billboard chart-topping albums, The Texas Tenors have become some of America’s favorite new tenors.
