The Texas Tenors

— Sept. 29 —

The #1 vocal and touring group from the hit NBC network television show, “America’s Got Talent.”

All of the concerts are free and open to the public with a shuttle service from the pool parking lot to the amphitheater on the hill. Rain venues are in place for all performances.

With the coming of spring, Firestone Park’s Idabelle Firestone Gathering Place and Garden will host a rich selection of events dedicated to honoring the legacy of Idabelle Smith Firestone. Her passions were flowers and gardening, as well as music. She was, indeed, an accomplished songwriter, as the “Voice of Firestone” NBC radio network’s broadcasts of classical music in the 1920s and 1930s — and later on television in the late 1940s — demonstrated. She wrote the opening and closing themes for these popular music hour programs of her day. Both songs — “If I Could Tell You” and “In My Garden” — are featured at the opening and closing of the free Idabelle Firestone Fall Concert Series at the Gathering Place.

A new support organization, the Firestone Park Cultural and Custodial Committee, recently formed and becoming a 501c3 soon, will host another free concert series this fall. With the addition of a new canopy, additional chairs, and a sound system, the committee is pleased to present accomplished musicians on the Fourth of July, as well as concerts every Sunday afternoon at 3 pm.. during the month of September.
