Lakeside is excited to welcome The Texas Tenors back to the Hoover Auditorium stage at 8:15 p.m. Saturday, July 2.
The Texas Tenors had more than 100 million people from around the world tuned in to NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” in 2009 to see them become the highest-ranking vocal group in the history of the show.
John Hagen, Marcus Collins and JC Fisher will bring their unique blend of country, gospel, classical and Broadway to Lakeside.
With breathtaking vocals, humor and cowboy charm, The Texas Tenors have traveled the globe performing more than 450 concerts in the last three years.
The group has collaborated with numerous symphonies including the Houston Symphony, Cleveland Pops, Kansas City Symphony, Austin Symphony, Phoenix Symphony and Prague Philharmonic, to name a few.
Their debut album, Country Roots-Classical Sound, represents their commitment to the preservation of timeless classics and inspirational themes. This album soared to number one on both the classical and country charts in 2010, 2011 and 2012.
The Texas Tenors released a second album, You Should Dream. The album is will be devoted to the classical treatment of beloved country, Broadway and standard favorites.
This album includes two original songs, such as the title song, “You Should Dream,” an inspirational ballad co-written by The Texas Tenors and Dana Lamb.
The trio has performed for such notable organizations as the Van Cliburn Foundation, Mutual of Omaha, Houston Rockets, Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino Las Vegas, Pro Bull Riders World Championships and many others.
When not on tour, The Texas Tenors can be found in several cities across the country for extended runs including more than 60 concerts each fall at The Starlite Theatre in Branson, Mo., where they were named 2011 and 2012 Critic’s Choice Group of the Year and Ensemble of the Year.
